The wedding was held for family and friends. Asha and Dave represented Amanda's family.

On Marks side was his mother, Norma, and father, Colin. The two children of his sister were part of the ceremony.

There were about 90 people in attendance including family, friends from Amanda's work at the Mauritian High Commission, Mark's friends at the Ministry of Health, and many mutual friends from their dance classes.
