The parliament building in Canberra is an interesting building that
seems practical and well organized on the inside and rather unusual on
the outside. In particular there is a large aluminum artifice above the
building - like a spidery candle holder.
Inside there are paintings of past prime ministers, several pieces of
sculpture and paintings, a couple of aboriginal petitions to recognize
their rights and an original copy of the 1297 issue Magna Carta,
sealed by King Edward I, one of 4 known to exist.
