912 Forums. In early 2002 I was asked if there
was a South Bay Porsche 912 club. From that conversation I started a
mailing list and then a bulletin board hosted from my house. When my
ISP went bankrupt in the summer of 2003 and the DSL connection to the
house was lost, the forum was moved to a hosting service. In the
spring of 2004 I rewrote parts of a
GPL licensed,
forum software for the bulletin boards
and moved it to a new hosting service. Since then the traffic and
membership have expanded significantly.
