Rick Hillman's Web Site
was created by my youngest brother who was an archaeology
photographer, photo journalist, had a radio program called 'Coming Up
for Air' on radio in Portland, Oregon and briefly produced a counter
culture magazine in Eugene, Oregon with a good friend, Dave Johnson,
called
'The Bullfrog Information Service'.
He caught some bad diseases while in the field
that in combination with hepatitis C, lead to liver disease. He did
not survive a liver transplant operation on July 19, 2003.
Rick and I took a lot of little trips together his last few years,
usually to take pictures. The one above showing him taking his morning
'meds' in his tent was taken at the
Parts Obsolete Campout
in June, 2003. This was a three day affair of special interest to the
Hillman boys because we were born in McMinnville.
