Can you Get Quality Scans from the Photo Drive up?
When I started the Porsche 912
site, many of the pictures were either scanned from prints or from
Photo CD from Wolf camera. Now that we have the Canoscan FS2710 we
can compare the results.
Before
This example is a shot of
a swap meet in
Hayward taken in June, 2000. The picture was take with a Canon APS
cammera. The film was Fuji nexia A200. The scan was from a 4x6 print
and a flatbed scanner. Not good.
After
Here is the new scan done in September, 2001 using the Canoscan. The
improvement is great, the difference obvious. I've now gone back and
rescanned most of the early APS negatives.
