Measuring A-Arm Angle

Fine adjustment on the torsion bar did not work for me so I just raised the A-arm till the torsion bar would slide back into its grooves and the A-arm was higher than before. The measurements below are interesting but of no importance.

Length from center line of A-arm to last mounting hole.
l1 = 8.75 in.

Length from last hole on the ball joint arm to the center line of the shock mount. l2 = 3 in.

The angle shown on the bubble a1 = 24 deg.

Using these measurements I determined that to lower the car by an inch requires raising the end of the A-arm by 3/4 inch. Any inaccuracy is handled by the adjustment screw.
